Phillip Maitre

Prof. Dr. Philippe Maître is Directeur de Recherche CNRS. He works at the Laboratoire de Chimie Physique at the Faculty of Sciences (Orsay) of the Université Paris Sud. His current research strongly relies on the development of an analytical platform that integrates infrared spectroscopy and tandem mass spectrometry (MS/MS). He has always been interested in deciphering reaction mechanisms, and ion trap based mass spectrometers are particularly well studied for manipulating transient species. Performing ion spectroscopy provides structural information and thereby offers a new dimension to mass spectrometry. His areas of interest includes organic, organometallic, and (bio-)inorganic chemistry.

Thiago C. Correra

Prof. Dr. Thiago Correra is the principal investigator of the Molecular Chemical Physics group at the Chemistry Institute of the University of São Paulo - Brazil. His actual challenges includes the development of IRMPD spectroscopy and mass spectroscopy tools to study reaction mechanisms and intermediates supported by theoretical calculations and simmulations. His areas of interrest includes organocatalitic reactins, organometallic catalysis and reactions of biological and industrial related processes.
He also coordinates the only IRMPD multiuser facility laboratory in Brazil.
